Hi Mike,
Thanks for sharing your music. I listened to some of the samples and I like your style of writing for guitar. Being a guitarist yourself, you seemed to have captured so many sweet spots! And it's cool that you have written for a great player like Michael Partington. I would certainly like to hear any of his performances of your works.
For now, I'm just going to read through the 'Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other' ...the sampler sounds very introspective. Hope to hear Martha Master's recording of it too if she is going to record them.
Thanks again Michael, that's very generous(and smart)  to make your pieces available.

Re: FREE SCORES
Hi Roland,

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to my music. And thanks for your kind comments!

I wrote "Six of One" right after my twin sons were born (they are 6 now,) and I would agree with you that the music is introspective. Martha toured with the piece, and was planning to record it for me, but she became too busy. So my friend Joe Hagedorn very generously agreed to record it for me. I have a recording of the entire piece, and I'm happy to email it to you if you like. (Email me privately abut this.)

I've tried various ways to get my scores out: a traditional publisher, selling through a vendor, selling myself, and sending out free hard copies on request. I've been reluctant to post my scores for free download because players might feel that if it's free it can't be good, but I think there is so much high quality free stuff online these days that it isn't much of an issue anymore.

Thanks again!
Mike

If it is free you don't have to worry about selling.
Free means free.

Thanks for the musicSmile
