Guitarrísimo: The Spanish Guitar through the the last two Centuries
concert

Born into a family of musicians, and with more than 2000 concerts under her belt, the Ukrainian guitarist Galina Vale’s repertoire ranges from classical music to more contemporary flamenco. Between 1986 and 1997, Galina Vale combined her role as principal guitarist of the Kharkov State Philharmonia with studying at the Moscow Gneisy Music College. She has performed in several festivals including the Eurowirral International Guitar Festival, the Ripon Music Festival and Hola Mundo. In this concert, Galina Vale will perform works by 19th and 20th century Spanish composers including Falla, Tárrega and Sabicas.
